A bid opening was held on August 15, 2006 in the Town of Moreau Office Building, 61 Hudson Street, South Glens Falls, New York, for the purpose of receiving sealed bids for the Replacement and Upgrades to the Town Transfer Station Compactor.
The bid opening commenced at 3:03 p.m.

The Town of Moreau, Saratoga County, New York will receive sealed bids for the Replacement and Upgrades to the town Transfer Station Compactor. Proposals will be received for Contract No. 1-GENERAL CONSTRUCTION at the following place:

Such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Please note, any bid submitted via U.S. Postal Service will be delivered to PO Box 1349, mail is picked up by Town only as time allows. To insure timely receipt, bidders are encouraged to have bids delivered to 61 Hudson Street address.
Copies may be obtained at the office of Burley-Guminiak & Associates, 24 Miner Street, Canton, New York 13617 upon payment of $25.00 for each set; deposit checks should be made payable to Burley-Guminiak & Associates. Any unsuccessful bidder, upon returning such set within 30 days of receipt of bids and in good condition, will be refunded his payment. A separate check in the amount of $10.00 (non-refundable) shall be made payable to Burley-Guminiak & Associates, to cover cost of mailing and handling the plans and specifications. Special overnight delivery service will be available for those prospective bidders that provide a special overnight shipping account number.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids, or any part of any bid. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed, Minimum Wage Rates to be paid under the contract, Equal Employment Opportunity, Executive Order 11246, Section 3, Segregated Facility and Section 109, any applicable laws, codes and regulations. Attention of bidders is called to the tax-exempt status of the Town.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
