A month-end meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Moreau was held on February 27, 2006 in the Town Office Building, 61 Hudson Street, South Glens Falls, New York.

At 3:30 p.m. the following Town Board Members were present:

Niki Baker, Councilwoman

Bob Prendergast, Councilman

The following department heads and employees were also present:

Steve Barody, Highway Superintendent

Mike Shaver, Water Superintendent

Sylvia Hanson, Special Projects Aide

Jeanne Fleury, Town Clerk

Also Present: Bill Richmond from Behan Communications

At approximately 3:40 p.m. Supervisor Gutheil entered the meeting.

Councilman Hewlett arrived at approximately 4:10 p.m.

The board members asked a few questions regarding the vouchers submitted by the department heads in attendance and answers were given.

At 4:10 p.m. Steve Barody and Mike Shaver left the meeting.

A motion was made by Councilwoman Baker and seconded by Councilman Prendergast to approve the following transfers and increase appropriations:

$2,000.00 was transferred from IV8340.405 – Water IV – Trans/Distribution – Equipment Repairs into IV8310.409 – Water IV – Administration – Contracts

$430.00 from V8310.1 – Water 5 – Administration – Personal Services into V8310.409 – Water 5 – Administration – Contracts

$25.00 from V9030.8 – Water 5 – Employee Benefits – Social Security into V8330.450 – Water 5 – Purification – Supplies

$78,575.00 from HP7180.409 – Recreation Capital Projects – Administration – Contracts and $20,000.00 from HP7180.412 – Recreation Capital Projects – Administration – Consultant Fees into HP7197F.409 – Recreation Capital Projects – Matching Grants – Contracts

$2,000.00 from A1990.4 – General Fund – Contingent Account into A8341.410 – General Fund – Route 9 Water District 6 – Attorney Fees

Increase appropriations by $64,000.00 for the Recreation Capital Project – Matching Grant – Contracts (HP7197F.409) to assist with the 2005 Accounts Payable
