A workshop on the draft master plan for the Town of Moreau was held by the Town Board of the Town of Moreau on June 5, 2006 in the Town Office Building, 61 Hudson Street, South Glens Falls, New York.

The workshop was opened at 6:00 p.m.

The Town Clerk was not present for this workshop. Councilwoman Baker took notes.

The board members present did a page by page review and edited the draft master plan.

Page 1-12: Remove #5 and #7

Page 1-13: The board wanted to check with the Assessor regarding the section in the draft master plan under housing that read that 30% of the housing is mobile homes and they want to verify this percentage.

Page 1-14: Bullet #2 – remove "encourage public and private"

Delete #2

Delete "Joy Store" in #3 and add "the former Joy Store location"

Delete #4 and #5

Page 1-15: 1^st paragraph – 4^th sentence – take out the word "a" between "for and "trail"

Under recommendations, consider increasing rec. fees sentence. There was a question on this.

Page 1-17: We need to check on if fish can be eaten or not. Also, have Joe Patricke check on the 10 acre zoning in the 2^nd paragraph

Page 1-18: Remove Bullet #3

Look into rewording the sentence on conserving open space. Supervisor Gutheil will look into whether county has same wording or not.

Delete #2

Page 1-19: Take out #3 and #5

Under #6 take out the wording from "adopt" to "that" and start sentence at "protect"

Take out #8

Page 1-19: Take out "traffic is also"

Page 1-20: Replacement of Route 9 Bridge
