Exemptions

 

For All Exemptions Please Submit the Following by March 1st

·        The Appropriate Application
·        Bill of Sale (If you live in a mobile home)
·        Copy of your Deed
·        Other Supporting Documentation the Exemption May Require

Low Income Senior Citizens Exemption- Please CLICK HERE for Application RP-467.  This Exemption is for residents who are 65 years of age or older and whose combined income is less than $37,400. 

Please Submit the following:

  •        RP-467 Application (See link above)
  •        Proof of Age (Drivers License, Birth Certificate, etc.)
  •        Income (Please contact the Assessor's office for more information)

Agricultural- To Qualify for this exemption you must complete form RP-305 and complete a soil and water map of your property.  For information regarding the soil and water map process please CLICK HERE. For more information about the Agricultural exemption and the process please CLICK HERE

  Alternative Veteran’s Exemption- Please CLICK HERE for the Alternative Veteran’s Exemption Application.  This exemption is for Veteran’s who served during the following periods of war or certain conditions:

·         Persian Gulf Conflict: 8/2/90 -

·         Vietnam War: 2/28/61 - 5/7/75

·         Korean War: 6/27/50 - 1/31/55

·         World War II: 12/7/41 - 12/31/46

 

In addition to the necessary documents stated above you must submit the following for this exemption:

·       Copy of Your DD214

·       (If Applicable) Letter Stating Disability Compensation Rating from the Veterans Administration.

 

Cold War Exemption- Please CLICK HERE for the Cold War Exemption Application. This exemption is for Veteran’s who served during the following periods of war or certain conditions:

·       September 2, 1945 through December 26, 1991

In addition to the necessary documents stated above you must submit the following for this exemption:

·       Copy of Your DD214

·       (If Applicable) Letter Stating Disability Compensation Rating from the Veterans Administration.
